Join the VESID Advisory Council And Make A Difference In The Lives Of Mental Health Recipients Today!
- Have you ever used VESID services?
- Do you refer clients to VESID?
- Are you interested in helping to improve services for recipients?
The NYS Office of Vocational and Educational Services for Individuals With Disabilities (VESID), New York Association of Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services(NYAPRS), and Community Access are partnering to offer recipients and providers an opportunity to collaborate in improving VESID vocational, rehabilitation and supported employment services.
The council will meet with VESID officials 4 times each year. You will help to identify which VESID services work well and what parts need improvement. You will help to develop strategies and ideas to help VESID offer the best possible service to mental health recipients.
To be considered for the council, you will need to complete a brief questionnaire. If interested please call Carla at 212-780-1400 x7726.
